Currently reading for his Doctorate in Business Administration, Simon also operates in an advisory role to a small number of entrepreneurs looking for significant growth as part of a planned exit strategy.

Simon is keen to invite contact and discussion with anyone considering a future exit from their business. If he and you feel over time that you can take a conversation further, you can talk about how that works for both parties, meanwhile, to overuse a cliché, there’s no obligation at all, so get in touch, let’s talk.

Introducing Advisory Services  from Exit Motivations, by Simon Kidney

I may have read Music for my undergraduate degree, but I’m not convinced great entrepreneurs always start at the very beginning…

As part of my research into the entrepreneurial and exit cycle as part of my Doctorate studies at Cranfield School of Management, it is becoming apparent that entrepreneurs often start at the end – with the “What, When, Where and How” of their eventual exit from their new start up or scale up venture.

Of course, this depends on your definition of the term “entrepreneur”, but that’s another argument.

Exit Motivations is all about the journey, exploring the real world application of academic theory behind an entrepreneur’s exit motivations, using my own experience as well as comprehensive research and very many fine debates and conversations with entrepreneurs engaged in that process.

I am keen to invite contact and discussion with anyone considering a future exit from their business.

If we feel over time that we can take a conversation further, we can talk about how that works, meanwhile, to overuse a cliché, there’s no obligation at all, so get in touch, let’s talk.

Simon Kidney is doctoral student, academic, lecturer and industry leading thought consultant creating conversation and thinking around scaling up, entrepreneurial shock and the exit journey.
